It was the beginning of April 2015 when it was presented the extension of the bike path from Monte Ciocci (near the Valle Aurelia station) to San Pietro, an operation of about 1.5 km to allow interconnection of a fundamental hub as the San Pietro station to the cycle lane of the Linear Park.
It will therefore be the continuation of the cycle path already built by RFI in the park of Monte Ciocci and Monte Mario station. The new runway is part of a broader project that involves the construction in the urban area of ??Rome of bike trails for a total of about 20 km and is a real opportunity not to be missed to improve the mobility of citizens and pilgrims in the extraordinary Jubilee that will be held in Rome this year.
The new bike path should be provided using some stretches of disused railway Roma-Viterbo and in this regard are in the course of negotiations with RFI in order to verify the possibility of realizing this path.
